Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeries

Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery can be a good option if you need treatment for fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis or other benign gynecologic conditions.

We strive to provide a safer and more effective alternative to traditional open surgery by performing the vast majority of our procedures via laparoscopy or hysteroscopy. We get referrals from other providers to perform such procedures that would otherwise be performed via a large abdominal incision.

Many women's health issues which require surgery can be treated with less invasive procedures. Performed by specially trained surgeons, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery often results in reduced pain, quicker healing, and lower risk of infection and leave smaller scars.

The Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Division provides comprehensive care for women with conditions including ectopic pregnancy, uterine fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, pelvic adhesion, endometriosis and ovarian cysts, as well as offering the latest minimally invasive options for these conditions.

High-Risk Pregnancy

Our Maternal Fetal Medicine specialty aims at providing the best care for both mother and fetus with unusual pregnancy environment such as pregnant women with chronic health problems.

We work hard to keep the woman as healthy as possible while her body changes and her baby grows. Moreover, we care for women who face unexpected problems, which develop during pregnancy, such as early labor, bleeding, high blood pressure, and small growing baby (IUGR).

This specialty is the go-to for pregnant women who arrive in the hospital for any reason, whether after an accident or at the onset of a kidney infection. In other cases, however, it is the baby who faces the un-routine. If an obstetrics care provider finds a birth defect or growth problem, MFMs can start treatment before birth, by providing monitoring and intrauterine blood transfusions.
