The Life Support Training Center at the International Medical Center (IMC) is conducting Basic Life Support (BLS) courses for healthcare professionals throughout the year.
The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals with the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and relieve choking in a safe timely and effective manner.
Healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, medical or nursing students in training, nursing assistants and other allied health personnel.
All course materials and activities follow the most recent Saudi Heart Association guidelines and standards. Saudi Heart Association is affiliated with Internal Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (I.L.C.O.R.).
The Life Support Training Center at the IMC is a unique training facility that is fully equipped with mannequins enough for hands-on practice for eact participant.
BLS certification is a prerequisite for licensing & registration by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
