The vascular surgery division at the IMC offers with the help of the latest technology in the medical field to guarantee accuracy in the diagnosis and management of most problems related to vascular diseases, whether it is arterial or venous.
The outpatient services include examining and investigating all problems related to the vascular system, whether it is congenital or diseases related including cases of poor perfusion to peripheral limb, abdominal or brain. Also, sclerotherapy in some cases of varicose veins.
The operations mostly done include:
Creation of arteriovenous fistula or graft for dialysis in chronic renal failure patients.
Dealing with arterial aneurysms.
Thrombectomy for acute arterial embolus.
Diabetic foot evaluation.
Lower limb varicose veins treatment.
Intra-abdominal organs perfusion problems.
Repair of traumatic vascular injuries.
Insertion of central vein catheter used for long-term I.V. drug infusion or dialysis.

Management of congenital vascular malformation whether arterial or venous.
Management of carotid body tumor.
Management of carotid artery stenosis.
