Dr. Ziad Elchami is a Pain and Headache Management Consultant who specializes in chronic pain. He is also the Chairman of the Pain & Headache Management Center of Excellence at the International Medical Center (IMC). His clinical interests are in areas such as; clinical neurophysiology, neuromuscular disorders, and pain.
Dr. Ziad completed his Doctorate Medical degree at the University of Damascus. He then joined Kansas University Neurology Residency Program where he completed both the residency program and the Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology and Neuromuscular Disorders. During that period, he served as Chief Resident and Chief Fellow as well.
Dr. Ziad has a Pain and Headache Fellowship from the Cleveland Clinic Foundation where he worked from 2003 to 2005, as a physician at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
He has won many awards and is well published in major national and international journals.
Dr. Ziad is a native of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He is a devoted husband and father to three children. His hobbies are reading and writing poetry.
